Earlier this month idownloadblog (a YouTube user) Was able to perform an untethered jailbreak on his iPhone 4S running 6.1.3. Evasi0n only supports devices running 6.0-6.1.2 but iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and the iPod touch 4 are able to jailbreak 6.1.3 tethered in redsn0w. This means that it could be releasing soon but people say what's the point when iOS 7 is releasing on September 18 and developers are already working in the next jail break for iOS 7. Some people online don't like iOS 7 and prefer iOS 6.
September 10th recap
On sept 10 Apple had their annual presentation in Cupertino. Apple announced 3 things. The iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, and released more information on iOS 7. First I want to talk about the iPhone 5s. My favorite thing is touch id because when I use a passcode it always gets so annoying having to type it in all the time so I thing this will be a very secure but easy way to unlock your device and others things in the iPhone. Also apple has replaced the traditional black and white colors with space fray and silver. Also introducing a new color, Gold!!! It will also be featuring the A7 chip and the M7 chip. the M7 chip deals with all of the motion in the iPhone 5s so it doesn't drain all your battery in the Apple chips. The iPhone 5c is almost the exact same as the iPhone 5 in terms of specs except the 5c has better LTE bands then the iPhone 5. I like the iPhone 5c because it lets you personalize your iPhone and there are 30 different color options if you include the cases.
